Lee Canyon is a great family-friendly ski spot, especially if you’re skiing with kids or a mixed-skill group. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, which makes it way less intimidating than bigger resorts. Beginners and kids have plenty of space to learn, and the terrain is laid out in a way that feels manageable and safe. That said, don’t sleep on it if you’re a more advanced skier or rider. There are some surprisingly solid advanced runs that are fun, steep enough to keep things interesting, and way less crowded than major resorts. It’s a nice balance — you can challenge yourself and still regroup easily with family. Lift tickets are dynamic, and rentals plus tickets come out to around $65 per person, which feels very reasonable for a full day on the mountain. Lines are generally manageable, and everything feels efficient without being rushed. Overall, Lee Canyon is a fantastic option for families, beginners, and anyone looking for a low-stress ski day with enough advanced terrain to keep experienced riders happy. Not a mega-resort — but that’s honestly part of the charm.

About an hour and change outside of Vegas is lee canyon, a quick fun getaway from the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas. Whether you're a black diamond or bunny slope they have a hill side for you. It was about 50 today and the snow was a little wet but looked fun. The parking isn't the greatest so be prepared for that. Small rental shop , snack bar and full bar with nice indoor and outdoor seating. If you don't want to go to Tahoe or further this is the perfect quick getaway.

It’s a tiny ski area with two chairlifts (that go to the “top”), just a few runs and very little vertical. It’s also 45 minutes from one of the hottest cities in the US, isn’t crowded, no traffic in or out, park for free 3 minutes from the lifts, has more snow than you can imagine, no lines and the most sane priced lift tickets in America. It’s absolutely perfect for locals, what more can you expect from a ski area in the desert?! Unbeatable value with minimal investment. Had a great day here, was 60 degrees outside and people riding in t-shirts. It’s small so a half day here is more than sufficient, you won’t find any advance terrain but I did find some powder spots in the trees and overall it’s a great way to spend a few hours between your outdoor tanning sessions.

We enjoyed it here. Nice and smooth. A bit confusing to rent the equipment and limited eating tables but we definitely can't complain. There was a good amount of snow but not too much and many areas were icy. The lifts are slow but the slides are looooong so you actually enjoy the ride. It is for beginners but let me tell you!! Steep and in some places close to trees. There is not cushions. Like if you loose it, you might hit a tree or a pole. We loved it. I can't say enough good things but for sure you have to try it and experience it yourself. Book your ticket in advance, if it's too busy and parking is full they let one in one out only. They have a shuttle to go from rent places to main entrance.

Nature 100/10. Beautiful, clean, well taken care of and plenty of free parking. Didn’t catch the snow but I bet it’s even more gorgeous. The only reason I give 4 is because the cafeteria could be greatly improved. Better coffee and service is needed. They didn’t have most of the items in the menu the time we went. That would really make it a premium experience.

Lee canyon is a great ski resort ! Amazing food and overall never too crowded. You can rent all your equipment that you’ll need from them. I bought my own goggles from the shop. They have helmets you can also buy if you want. We will definitely be back !

This was a great place to take the kids for the first time skiing. Free ski passes for kids 12 and under. Lessons and rentals were very reasonable. The line to get rentals was a little ridiculous, but I am attributing it to the road closure which delayed a lot of guests. The mountain was not crowded, despite it being a holiday weekend. Easy to get on chairlifts with minimal wait time, this was a very beginner-friendly resort with multiple small chairlifts and a magic carpet.

Been here many times, when we are in LV visiting. About only 1 hr drive one way from LV, very convenient. Has multiple parking lots. The downer is even though we paid for online lift tickets plus equipment rental, we still had to stand in line for over 1 hr, that is one room for boots, scan it them to the next room for skis or snowboard. The slopes are not that crowded there are 2 beginners and at least 3 advanced slopes. Some skiers on the lift said for better experience go to Arizona Snowbowl in Flagstaff or resorts in noethern Utah. Overall still pretty good since only 2 hrs roundtrip from LV.
